Another World was on for 35 years from May 4, 1964 to June 25, 1999 on [[NBC]]. Until four years since it went off the air. SOAPnet got Another World back on the air so everyone can enjoy it all over again airing previous episodes from 1987 to 1991 on SOAPnet from 2003 to 2007.

Another World was an NBC network soap opera created by Irna Phillips & William J. Bell. which premiered on May 4, 1964.

The series focused less on the conventional drama of domestic life as seen in other soap operas and more on exotic melodrama between families of different classes and philosophies.

It was the first soap opera to do a crossover (with one of the characters from the soap opera "Guiding Light") and the first soap opera to expand to one hour, then 90 minutes and then back to an hour.
