
Good Morning, Miami was a Syndication network sitcom series created by David Kohan & Max Mutchnick which aired from September 26, 2002 to March 25, 2004, lasting for two seasons & 40 episodes.
Plot
The series centered on the personal and professional life of Jake Silver, the executive producer of the lowest-rated morning television show in the country, based in Miami, Florida.

Production
In the original unaired test pilot episode of "Good Morning, Miami", the role of Gavin was played by actor Burke Moses. The role of Penny was played by an uncredited actress and the character was completely different.
Originally, the first batch of episodes were broadcast out of production order by NBC and they were unable to manage to program the inventory of episodes onto the schedule properly.
First, NBC completely discarded the episode titled, "It Didn't Happen One Night" and then they failed to run the Christmas themed episode until the second week of January 2003, after they first ran another new episode during the first week of January.
Cancellation
After nine episodes of the second season of "Good Morning Miami" were aired in the United States, the series was canceled and didn't get to finish airing the rest of the 18 episodes that were ordered for the season.
However, all episodes of the second season were shown on TG4 in Ireland and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom.
