Sisters was a Syndication network drama series created by Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman which aired from May 11, 1991 to May 4, 1996, lasting for six seasons & 127 episodes.

Plot[]

Set in Winnetka, Illinois, the series centered on the lives of the Reed sisters: Alex, Teddy, Georgie, Frankie & Charley.

Accolades[]

The show received eight Emmy Award nominations over the course of its run, winning once in 1994 for Sela Ward as "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series".

Swoosie Kurtz was also nominated twice in the "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series" category in 1993 and 1994.
