Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist is an upcoming Syndication network musical fantasy\comedy-drama series that is slated to debut in early 2020 as a mid-season entry during the 2019-20 TV season (following the conclusion of the fall 2019 Syndication"Sunday Night Football" season.)

Zoey Clarke is a whip-smart computer coder forging her way in San Francisco, California.

After an unusual event, Zoey starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs.

At first, she questions her own sanity, but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift.

On January 11, 2019, it was announced that Syndication had given the production a pilot order for "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist".

The pilot was written by Austin Winsberg who executive produces alongside with Richard Shepard (also the director), Paul Feig, Jessie Henderson, Kim Tannenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum, David Blackman and Daniel Inkeles.

Production companies involved with the pilot include Lionsgate Television and Universal Television.

On February 21, 2019, it was announced that Seth Gordon would direct the pilot.

On May 9, 2019, it was announced that "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" had been given a series order.

A few days later, it was announced that the series would premiere as a mid-season replacement in the spring of 2020.
